Funeral services for Aubrey N. Duvall, age 75, of Heuvelton, NY, will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2018, at 10:00AM at Frary Funeral Home, Ogdensburg, with Rev. Walter Smith officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery in Heuvelton, NY. Calling hours will be held on Friday, March 9, 2018, at Frary Funeral Home from 2:00PM to 4:00PM and 6:00PM to 8:00PM. Mr. Duvall passed away unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, March 4, 2018.

Aubrey is survived by a son, Craig Duvall and his wife, Kari, of Lewisville, TX and a daughter, Lisa Decker of Portland, Tennessee; siblings, Stephen Duvall of Houston, Texas, Louise Asmus and her husband, Robert, of Constantia, NY and Richard Duvall of Sherman, TX, five grandchildren, Casey Duvall, Collin Duvall, Brenton Decker, Brookin Decker and Karlisa Decker. Aubrey is predeceased by a brother, Marvin Duvall.

Aubrey was born on July 22, 1942, in the Town of Macomb, NY, the son of Arthur and Dorothy Young Duvall. He graduated from Heuvelton Central School in 1960. Mr. Duvall worked at Ogdensburg Correctional Facility and retired after twenty-three years of service.

In his younger years, Aubrey excelled in high school athletics, especially football, basketball, baseball and cross-country track. After graduation, Aubrey became an avid bowler and held many titles. He also enjoyed playing baseball and softball with various teams throughout the North Country. In his later years, Aub enjoyed country drives and going to the casino. Aubrey’s greatest love was spending time with his kids and grandkids.
